"Up for a challenge?" was the subject line to the email that Jon sent me in regards to the project.... Am I up up for it?! I'm always up for a challenge!
But this is a challenge in more ways than one. Between already working two jobs, creating a reel for Haj, who often tickles us, working on the Red & Black project with C.J. and still trying to figure out wedding details. Is it really worth it? The possiblities are endless for the direction we can take in the continuation of where the original short ends. But what can we realisticaly produce with limited time and funds?
We figured, if we have a creative meeting where we come up with an executable outline/storyboard for a short of the quality close to the original, on a budget of course, we'll do it.
Inspired, optimistic, motivated and enthusiastic as we are, we put our creative minds to work over a buffet of Whole Foods breakfast and came up with a solid continuation.
Deadline is Feb. 11th. This may require more sleepless nights, but I'm up for it.
